I am a teacher with over 25 years experience with Virginia Beach Public Schools. I began as a self-contained teacher, instructing in all 5 areas of the curriculum: reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. 5 years ago, I decided to enter a team teaching situation and now specialize in teaching math, science, and social studies. Most of my years have been spent in a 3rd grade classroom, but have worked with students across all grades at the elementary and middle school levels. I have taught all types of student populations including English Language Learners, special education, and intellectually gifted. I am able to modify my instruction to meet the needs of each type of child - how can I help yours?
About Me
Session Options
I offer extra help in language arts, math, science, and social studies, grades 1-5. I can come to your home or I can meet your child in a public library. Specific arrangements made on an individual basis.
Private Sessions

$50 per hour
Partner Sessions
2 students at a time
you arrange the partnership
must be in the same grade
$35 per student per hour
